Here are some photos (courtesy of the internet) of makeup I did for the lovely Miss Linda Fargo at the Met Gala 2012 wearing a custom gown and cape designed by Naeem Khan. :D
Ok, it’s for the ladies too…:)
I recently received a bag of goodies from a very sweet, young lady who works in PR ,who is also a customer at my husband’s place of work. Inside this bag was makeup from 3 different lines (which I can’t wait to try and post) and a skincare line. I was especially excited about the skincare line because those were products that both my husband and I could use.
Two of the products were a shaving oil and a after shave balm. Now, let me say this, my husband NEVER shaves down to the skin with a razor because it is highly irritating to his sensitive, eczema prone skin. Instead he uses an electric beard trimmer on the lowest setting, leaving him with a five o’clock shadow.
After using the balm a couple of times with no complaints, I suggested he try the shaving oil. I thought for sure he wouldn’t go for it, but he did and his reaction took me by surprise!
He noted that the scent was nice, not overbearing or chemical smelling. He also liked that the product stayed on and he was able to shave his entire face without reapplying. And although his skin felt baby smooth and well hydrated after, he decided to go ahead and apply the balm to see how his skin would react. Again, he noted the scent was nice, not overbearing or chemical smelling and his favorite part? No burning or stinging! Instead it was calming and very soothing. Perfect!
So, without any further ado, here is our go to product for men and women’s shaving!

The Roc Retinol Correxion Eye Cream! I’ve been using this eye cream on and off for about four years now. On and off only because in my line of work I get given products to try all the time. I just keep coming back because it’s the only eye cream that gives me the results I want. Here are a few reasons why I keep coming back for more:
1. I get a bad eczema reaction to certain eye products. I’ve had no problems thus far.
2. It has retinol in it. Retinol works great for fine lines and hyper pigmentation, but that’s not all! I found a great article about retinol and it’s benefits that you can read here.
3. It’s not greasy and I can apply my under eye concealer without the worry of it sliding or creasing!
I would highly recommend reading the article I posted above to educate yourself about retinol. It also talks about some other products that you might want to try, then you can tell me about it!

My first memory of fierce eyebrows, is this girl right here, Miss Brooke Shields. Her eyebrows say it all!!
A natural beauty…
Hello Everyone! Here is a miracle product that has so far gotten me through the hot and sweaty summer months with hardly any breakouts!
Every year I look forward to summer, especially after this past brutal winter that we had here in NYC. This year I came across these facial cleansing pads by Desert Essence that I used about 15 years ago… (God, I feel old) :/ and I remembered them working well, so I gave it a shot. Besides, it’s made with tea tree oil and I love me some tea tree oil!
Now, I’m lazy when it comes to washing my face before bed, which is why I wear the least makeup I can get away with during the day, so it’s less of a chore to take off at night. In the summer you feel so disgusting when you get home, you have no choice but to take a shower, so my face is sure to get clean then.
After my shower I used a cleansing pad, avoiding the eyes (just read the directions) and it says to rinse with cool water after, I didn’t. I wanted to keep all the goodness on my face to penetrate during the night while I sleep because that’s when your skin replenishes itself. After the first night I could see and feel the difference! My skin glowed, was smooth, and all I had to do that morning was rinse my face with cool water then start my regimented day!
I’m not going to claim that this will work for everyone, but if you have normal to oily skin that is prone to breakouts, please give it a try!
You can get them here.
